Descrizione generale

CHIROBIOTIC® T e T2 hanno come selettore chirale la teicoplanina. Offrono una selettività unica per numerose classi di molecole, aminoacidi specificamente non derivatizzati α, β, γ e ciclici, aminoacidi N-derivatizzati, acidi idrossi-carbossilici, composti acidi inclusi gli acidi carbossilici e i fenoli, piccoli peptidi, analiti aromatici neutri e aromatici ciclici e ammine alifatiche. Separazioni che di solito si ottengono su un etere corona chirale o CSP del tipo a scambio di ligandi sono possibili anche sui CHIROBIOTIC® T e T2, ma in fasi mobili molto più semplici, come acqua-alcol. Sono stati inoltre risolti tutti i betabloccanti (amminoalcol) noti e le diidrocumarine. CHIROBIOTIC® T e T2 differiscono nella chimica di legame e nella dimensione dei pori della particella di supporto, presentando quindi selettività e capacità preparative differenti.
