Il kit Cell Counting -8 (CCK-8) consente comode analisi utilizzando WST-8 (2-(2-metossi-4-nitrofenil)-3-(4-nitrofenil)-5-(2,4-disolfofenil)-2H-tetrazolio, sale monosodico), che, in presenza di 1-metossi PMS, un trasportatore di elettroni, viene ridotto a formazano, un colorante solubile in acqua La soluzione CCK-8 viene aggiunta direttamente alle cellule, non è richiesta la pre-miscelazione dei componenti. Il WST-8 è ridotto dalle deidrogenasi cellulari a formazano, un prodotto arancione solubile nel terreno di coltura. La quantità di formazano prodotta è direttamente proporzionale al numero di cellule vive . 100 Test means 100 wells, so only one 96-well plate?

The reagents provided in kit 96992 are sufficient for 100 tests. A 96 well microplate is not included with the kit. The customer must provide the 96 well plate. Although a solid 96 well plate can be used, a 96 well microplate with removable strips will allow for the most efficient use of the kit.

Is this kit suitable for use with HEK293 or HEK293f cells?

Yes, the 96992 kit can be utilized to stain both HEK293 and HEK293B cells. The Cell Count kit is not cell type-specific and is expected to function effectively for counting viable mammalian cells. In this kit, the WST-8 dye, which is a formazan stain is specific to viable cells and is not present in nonviable cells.
