Descrizione generale

C8-BTBT is a conducting polymer with [1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]- benzothiophene (BTBT) as the base material for the development of air-stable semiconductors. It can form a spin coated thin film that can be used as a p-type semiconductor with charge mobility of 43 cm2V-1s-1. It exhibits highly ordered self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on graphene and hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) [1][2][3] with sheet resistance: <1,000 ohm/sq

Applicazioni

C8-BTBT is a conjugating polymer that can be used in a variety of organic electronics based applications which includes organic photovoltaic cells (OPV), organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic thin film transistors (OTFTs).[4][5][6]
High field-effect mobility of 5.5-5.7 cm2/Vs and high On/Off ratio of 109 [7]; solution-processed (solubility of 80 mg/mL) OFETs

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
