Description générale

Indium tin oxide coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film is optically transparent and electrically conductive.[1] The ITO coating is protected by a thin, transparent film, that can be easily peeled off.

Application

ITO-PET may be used in fabricating flexible OLEDs.[2] ITO/PET may be used as a reference anode in conventional flexible polymer based organic solar cells (OSCs).[3]

  1. How do I determine which side of this product has the Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coating?

    1. The ITO side of the PET sheet has a blue protective film on it to prevent the ITO from scratching.  Once this film is removed, you can also determine the coated side by testing for ITO resistance using either a Multimeter or a Four Point Probe.

    1. Our supplier has provided the transmittance values for the materials at 550 nm. These values are as follows:749737 Indium tin oxide coated PET 100 Ohms/sq- greater than 77.0% Transmittance at 550 nm749753 Indium tin oxide coated PET 200 Ohms/sq- greater than 82.5% Transmittance at 550 nm749788 Indium tin oxide coated PET 250 Ohms/sq- greater than 83.0% Transmittance at 550 nm749818 Indium tin oxide coated PET 300 Ohms/sq- greater than 84.0% Transmittance at 550 nm.

    1. The Indium tin oxide (ITO) coated PET is protected by a thin, transparent film that can be easily peeled off.  This film will not show resistance, so it needs to be removed prior to testing the electrical properties.
