General description
Rogosa Agar with TMB and peroxidase is a nutrient rich selective media for the isolation and enumeration of lactobacilli spp. The accompanying microbial flora is inhibited by the high acetate concentration and low pH of the medium.
Tween® 80 provides necessary fatty acids for metabolism during growth. Lower concentrations of manganese, magnesium and iron ensure optimal growth of lactobacillus present in the test samples from food industry.
