Allgemeine Beschreibung

Human APOC2 (apolipoprotein C2) is an 8914 kDa exchangeable apolipoprotein, linked with VLDL (very low density lipoprotein) and chylomicrons.[1] This gene is located on human chromosome 19q13.[2]
The ApoC2 ELISA kit provides for the Quantitative measurement of ApoC2 in Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum.

Anwendung

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

APOC2 (apolipoprotein C2) serves as a cofactor for lipoprotein lipase.[1] It plays a major role in the flux of TGs (triglycerides) through the plasma compartment.[3]
