Recombinant human PEAK1 (1127-end) was expressed by Baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. PEAK1 or Pseudopodium-enriched atypical kinase 1 is a protein tyrosine kinase which belongs to NKF3 kinase family and regulates the cytoskeleton and has been shown to be involved in cancer progression (1). PEAK1 promotes anchorage-independent growth in the MDA-MB-435 human cancer cell line and promotes tumor progression of XPA-1 human pancreatic cancer cells when transplanted into the pancreas of nude mice. PEAK1 is highly expressed in spleen, followed by heart, ovary, brain, lung, kidney, and fetal brain (2).
Reconstitution
Formulated in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF, with 25% glycerol.
Stockage et stabilité
Store in aliquots at -70°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
