Leucylglycylglycine (DL-Leu-Gly-Gly) may be used to study the effects of branched-chain di- and tripeptides on cell envelope-associated proteinase (CEPs) activity. L-Leu-Gly-Gly may be used as a substrate to study the kinetics of tripeptide aminopeptidase (EC 3.4.11.4) and other peptidase(s) such as leucylglycylglycine aminopeptidase (EC 3.4.1.3).
