The epitope recognized by PLA0283 maps to a region between residue 300 and 350 of human Tumor Susceptibility Gene 101 using the numbering given in entry NP_006283.1 (GeneID 7251).
Physical form
Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7 to 8 containing 0.09% Sodium Azide
Other Notes
Tumor susceptibility gene 101 protein (TSG101) is a component of the ESCRT-I complex, a regulator of vesicular trafficking process. TSG101 mediates the association between the ESCRT-0 and ESCRT-I complex. TSG101 binds to ubiquitinated cargo proteins and is required for the sorting of endocytic ubiquitinated cargos into multivesicular bodies (MVBs). TSG101, along with CEP55, is required for completion of cytokinesis [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q99816].
