General description

Brodifacoum is an anticoagulant rodenticide, widely used for the control of rodent population via inhibition of the vitamin K epoxide reductase, causing blood clotting alterations, leading to haemorrhaging as the ultimate cause of death.[1]

Application

Brodifacoum may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in animal samples[1] and biological samples[2] using different chromatography techniques..
