General description
FRIIS liquid Medium is designed for qualitative detection of avian mycoplasmas in test samples of pharmaceutical industry especially in bulk vaccines, cell banks and viral cultures.
The media formulation is basic and is supplemented NAD (Nucleotide Adenine Dinucleotide) which supports the growth M. synoviae. The color change reaction in the medium indicates the presence of mycoplasmas in the tested sample. Addition of antibiotics in the medium inhibits the accompanying microflora.
