General description
Optimized reagents for ultrasensitive β-gal assays
The BetaFluor β-Gal Assay Kit is designed for rapid, sensitive measurement of β-galactosidase activity in cell extracts. The kit features Reportasol Extraction Buffer, which enables efficient passive extraction of cell protein while maintaining optimal enzyme activity, and is configured for 96-well format. Because no mechanical operations are necessary for extraction, the assay is highly amenable to high-throughput reporter gene expression analysis. The BetaFluor Assay is designed for fluorometric detection with 500-fg sensitivity.

The trafficking of components within cilia, called intraflagellar transport (IFT), is powered by kinesin-2 and dynein-2 motors. Loss of function in any subunit of the heterotrimeric KIF3A/KIF3B/KAP kinesin-2 motor prevents ciliogenesis in mammalian cells and has hindered an understanding of

Hedgehog (HH) signaling critically regulates embryonic and postnatal development as well as adult tissue homeostasis, and its perturbation can lead to developmental disorders, birth defects, and cancers. Neuropilins (NRPs), which have well-defined roles in Semaphorin and VEGF signaling, positively regulate
