Permet de renaturer les protéines des échantillons dénaturés au chlorure de guanidine 6 M, comme les corps d'inclusion. Peut être utilisé en association avec du chlorhydrate de guanidine et du dithiothréitol (DTT) pour replier les protéines dénaturées dans leur forme native active.
