Informations sur le gène

human ... P2RX7(5027)

Spécificité

The epitope is specific for P2X7 and is not present in any other known protein.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: Rat, mouse (Solee et al. 2001) and Candida albicans (Koshlukova et al. 2000). The sequence is highly conserved in mouse and human (18/20 and 16/20 residues identical, respectively). Reactivity with other species has not been tested.

Immunogène

Purified peptide P2X7 from 576-595 of rat P2X7 (Koshlukova et al. 2000).

Application

Anti-P2X7 Receptor Antibody detects level of P2X7 Receptor & has been published & validated for use in IH & WB.

Western blot:1:200-1:1000 using ECL on rat brain membranes.

Immunohistochemistry (Vial & Evans 2000; Lewis & Evans 2000; Gitterman & Evans 2000)

Dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%)

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Forme physique

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. Reconstitute with 200 μL of sterile deionized water. Centrifuge antibody preparation before use (10,000 xg for 5 min).

Stockage et stabilité

Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C for up to 12 months. After reconstitution maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Remarque sur l'analyse

Control
CONTROL ANTIGEN: Included free of charge with the antibody is 40 μg of control antigen (lyophilized powder). The stock solution of the antigen can be made up using 100 μL of sterile distilled water. For negative control, preincubate 1 μg of peptide with 1 μg of antibody for one hour at room temperature. Optimal concentrations must be determined by the end user.

Autres remarques

Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
