General description
- Eppendorf® Deepwell plates, Protein LoBind are available as PCR clean purity grade, free of human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors clean. They are used to maximize sample recovery by significantly reducing sample binding to the surface.
- They comprise of a two-component polymer mix which creates a hydrophilic surface that ensures optimized recovery rates of valuable samples.
- Free of surface coating (e.g., silicone) to minimize the risk of sample interference.
- Available in tube, microplate, and deepwell plate formats for easy-up scaling.
- High-contrast Unique OptiTrack® matrix: up to 30% faster sample identification and fewer pipetting errors.
- RecoverMax® well design: optimized well geometry for minimal remaining/dead volume and excellent mixing properties.
- Raised well rims and a smooth surface guarantee reliable sealing in plates.
Eppendorf Protein LoBind Plates are specifically designed for protein. For difficult samples with low protein concentrations, the Eppendorf LoBind Plates ensure maximum sample recovery while protecting the enzymatic activity. This makes subsequent analyses easier.
Application
Eppendorf® Deepwell plates, Protein LoBind, 384 wells are used in:
- Sample storage and preparation
- Bacteria and yeast cultivation.
- DNA and RNA isolation with high throughput.
- Storage of cDNA or genomic banks.
- Storage of siRNA or oligonucleotide libraries.
- Protein analysis.
- Storage of valuable protein and DNA samples in Eppendorf LoBind plates.
- Plasmid purification with high throughput.
- Creating dilution series.
- Preparation or storage of protein, peptide or antibody samples
- Enzymatic assays – the hydrophilic surface reduces denaturation when interacting with the vessel wall
- Avoiding sample loss when storing virus stock solutions
- Storage of cell suspensions
