General description

Cadusafos is a nematicide used in controlling nematodes, soil insects and cutworms in a variety of fruits and vegetables. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase.

Application

Cadusafos may be used as a reference standard in the determination of cadusafos in Radix astragali plant using microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and dispersive solid-phase extraction (D-SFE) with gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).

The most familiar organophosphorus compounds are the neurotoxic insecticides and nerve agents. A related group of organophosphorus compounds, the phosphotriester plasticizers and flame retardants, has recently become widely used. Unlike the neurotoxic phosphotriesters, the plasticizers and flame retardants lack an

Chemical isotope labelling in combination with high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (CIL-HPLC-MS/MS) is a powerful method for quantitative profiling of targeted molecules. In the current work, we successfully developed a novel CIL-HPLC-MS/MS method for quantitative profiling of residual organophosphorus thioester
