Creatinine is soluble in water (90 mg/ml at 20° C), slightly soluble in alcohol and ethanol, and insoluble in acetone and chloroform. For stock solutions, it is recommended to store them at 0 - 4°C for short term (days to weeks), or at -20°C for long term (months).
