It is also found as an active constituent in herbs used for traditional Chinese medicine, such as má huáng. This certified reference standard can be used Snap-N-Spike® as a starting material in the preparation of calibrators or controls for clinical or forensic applications or Snap-N-Shoot® in quality control testing of dietary supplements containing ephedrine.
