Biochem/physiol Actions

Zeigt sowohl immunstimulierende als auch immunsuppressive Wirkungen, abhängig von verschiedenen steuerbaren Faktoren. Sehr wirksam bei der Behandlung von Ascariasis (Hakenwürmer Befall). Nützlich in der Chemotherapie von kolorektalen Karzinomen, möglicherweise aufgrund seiner Stimulation der IL-1 Produktion und direkter Aktivierung von Makrophagen.
