Cytarabine USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
  • Cytarabine for Injection

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Ara-C wird in DNA eingebaut und hemmt die DNA-Replikation durch Bildung von Spaltkomplexen mit Topoisomerase I, was zu einer Fragmentierung der DNA führt; die RNA-Synthese wird nicht gehemmt. Anti-Leukämiemittel.
