General description
V5 ist ein Amino-coterminales Protein, das aus einer cysteinreichen Region am C-Terminus besteht, die einer cysteinreichen metallbindenden Domäne ähnelt. Es wird vom „P“-Gen des Paramyxovirus SV5 codiert.
Der synthetische Anti-V5-Peptidantikörper vom Kaninchen reagiert mit V5-markierten rekombinanten Fusionsproteinen, die in transfizierten Säugetierzellen und aus der In-vitro-Translation exprimiert werden.

Lösung in 0,01 M phosphatgepufferter Kochsalzlösung, pH 7,4, mit 15 mM Natriumazid.
Preparation Note
Bei 2 bis 8 °C bis zu einem Monat haltbar. Zur Langzeitlagerung in Arbeitsaliquoten einfrieren. Wiederholtes Einfrieren und Auftauen wird nicht empfohlen. Eine Aufbewahrung in „frostfreien“ Gefrierschränken wird nicht empfohlen. Falls nach längerer Lagerung eine leichte Trübung eingetreten ist, die Lösung vor dem Gebrauch durch Zentrifugieren klären. Nicht verwendete Arbeitsverdünnungen sollten nach 12 Stunden verworfen werden.
