Allgemeine Beschreibung

Endoproteinase Asp-N ist eine Metalloendoprotease. Sie wird aus einem Mutantenstamm von Pseudomonas fragi gewonnen, der Peptidbindungen am N-Terminus von Asparagin- und Cysteinsäureresten hydrolisiert.[1][2] Asp-N findet aufgrund seiner hochspezifischen Spaltung von Peptiden in der Proteomik beim Peptidmapping und bei der Proteinsequenzierung Verwendung.[3][4]

Anwendung

Endoproteinase Asp-N aus Pseudomonas-fragi-Mutantenstamm wird beim Verdau spezifischer Proteine zur Präparation von Peptiden und für die Analyse von generierten Peptiden mithilfe der Massenspektrometrie (MS) verwendet.[5][6][7]
