Immunogen

nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (AchR) from the rat brain.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Binds to native and denatured α₄ AchR. May be used to quantitate α₄ AchR′s on the cell surface. The epitope is located on the extracellular surface of the α₄ subunit of the AchR.

Physical form

Solution in 20 mM Na₃PO₄, pH 7.2, containing 150 mM NaCl and 0.05% sodium azide.
