Anwendung

The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

IRAK-4 (interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4) is a serine/threonine kinase that acts as a central adaptor protein in TLR signaling and belongs to the IRAK family. It is a protein kinase involved in signaling innate immune responses from Toll-like receptors. Its kinase activity may have some role in different human cell types, as well as in IRAK4 scaffolding.
