This product has not been tested specifically for use in cell staining on slides or coverslips. However, it has been used successfully in staining osteoblasts by other customers. Cell are fixed prior to staining. Suitability for use with a specific cell type or for fresh smears would have to be determined by the end user. Application
Ein gebrauchsfertiges präzipitierendes Substratsystem für die alkalische Phosphatase. Dieses Substratsystem produziert ein unlösliches NBT-Diformazan-Endprodukt, das blau/lila ist und visuell beobachtet werden kann. Immunhistochemische Färbung mit BCIP/NBT erfordert organische Eindeckmittel und kann mit Kernechtrot oder Hellgrün gegengefärbt werden. BCIP/NBT ist im Allgemeinen eine empfindlichere Methode als Kernechtrot. Nicht empfohlen für ELISA-Verfahren (Mikrotiterplatten).
Das BCIP®/NBT-Flüssigsubstrat-System wurde eingesetzt:
- zur Färbung alkalischer Phosphatase (ALP) in Knochenmarkstromazellen
- als Substrat beim Western-Blot-Detektion von MMP2-(Matrix-Metalloproteinase-2-)spezifischen Antikörpern
- als Substrat für alkalische Streptavidin-Phosphatase in ELISpot-Assays (Enzyme-Linked-Immuno-Spot-Assays)
