• Biotinylated dextran amine and biocytin hydrochloride are useful tracers for the study of retinal projections in the frog.: In diesem Artikel wird der Einsatz von Biocytinhydrochlorid bei der Verfolgung retinaler Projektionen in Amphibien beleuchtet. Die Studie zeigt die Wirksamkeit von Biocytinhydrochlorid im neuroanatomischen Mapping und erleichtert damit die Forschung zur Entwicklung und Funktion des visuellen Systems (Scalia et al., 1997).
