General description

L-Ascorbinsäure-2-phosphat-Sesquimagnesiumsalzhydrat, auch bekannt als Magnesium-Ascorbylphosphat (MAP), ist ein stabiles Derivat von Vitamin C (L-Ascorbinsäure). MAP wird in verschiedenen Forschungsbereichen angewendet, darunter emulsionsbasierte Experimente, biokatalytische Dephosphorylierung, Zelldifferenzierung und Gewebezüchtung (Tissue Engineering). Der vielseitige Nutzen erstreckt sich auf die Genrepression, Transkriptionsstudien und Untersuchungen im Zusammenhang mit Wachstumsfaktoren. Application

L-Ascorbinsäure-2-phosphat-Sesquimagnesiumsalzhydrat wurde als Expansionsmedium für mesenchymale Stammzellen (MSC) zur Inkubation von Zellträgern,[1] in Dulbeccos modifiziertem Eagle-Medium (DMEM) zur Kultur von menschlichen Nabelschnurzellen und mesenchymalen Stammzellen eingesetzt.

Biochem/physiol Actions

L-Ascorbinsäure-2-phosphat (AA2P) wird bei der biokatalytischen Dephosphorylierung für die elektrische Energieerzeugung und elektrochemische Nachweisverfahren eingesetzt. L-Ascorbinsäure-2-phosphat kann zur Zelldifferenzierung und Gewebezüchtung eingesetzt werden. Asc-2P wird zur Untersuchung der Genrepression, z. B. der Repression der Dihydrotestosteron-induzierten Dickkopf-1-Expression, eingesetzt.

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.   3. How long is stable at -20 or -80 degrees, if dissolved in water or media? By any chance, did you tested the stability of this product at -20 °C or -80 °C?

    1. Unfortunately, the solution stability of this product at freezer temperatures has not been determined. This product is soluble in water at 50 mg/ml. Stock solutions have been found to retain 85% activity for 1 week at 37 °C and 80% activity for 1 month at refrigerated temperatures.

    1. This is not a sterile product. Stock solutions should be filter-sterilized. The compound is soluble in water at 50 mg/mL. The solution stability has not been determined.

      This product stability has not been determined at -20 °C or -80 °C.
