General description
Atto 488 ist ein ausgezeichneter Fluoreszenzfarbstoff mit starker molekularer Absorption (90.000) und Quantenausbeute (0.80) sowie ausreichend großem Stokes-Shift. Es ist für die Anregung mit Argon-Lasern optimiert und zeichnet sich durch hohe Photostabilität aus.
Die Azid -Modifikation eignet sich für Reaktionen mit Alkin-Gruppen (Huisgen-Reaktion - "Click-Chemie").
