Beschreibung

General description

Phalloidin Atto 488 ist eine hydrophile, fluoreszente Markierung mit guter Wasserlöslichkeit. Nach der Kopplung an ein Substrat weist die fluoreszente Markierung eine Nettoladung von -1 auf. Die Fluoreszenzaktivität wird im Bereich von 480–515 nm effizient angeregt. Eine geeignete Anregungsquelle für Phalloidin Atto 488 ist die 488-nm-Linie des Argon-Ionen-Lasers.

Application

Phalloidin Atto 488 wird zum Markieren von F-Aktin in fixierten Zellen eingesetzt, da die Art der Bindung der von natürlichem Phallacidin entspricht. Phalloidinkonjugate identifizieren und quantifizieren F-Aktin in Gewebe, Zellkulturen oder zellfreien Präparaten. Da fluoreszente Phalloidin Atto 488-Konjugate nicht in lebende Zellen eindringen, eignet es sich zum Identifizieren von Zellen mit beeinträchtigten Membranen.
