Biochem/physiol Actions

Drospirenon ist ein Progestin der vierten Generation mit antimineralcorticoider und antiandrogener Aktivität, sowie starker Progestagenaktivität. Zwei aktuelle Studien zeigen, dass Drospirenon das Risiko von venösen Thromboembolien, im Vergleich zu Levonorgestrel, verdoppeln soll, obwohl andere Studien wenig zusätzliches Risiko fanden.
