Other Notes

95 parts of specially denatured ethyl alcohol 3A, 200 proof, ACS reagent, with 5 parts of isopropyl alcohol. Final concentrations are ~ 90% ethanol, ~ 5% methanol and ~ 5% isopropanol.

  1. Would like to enquire on the ethanol content (v/v) % via GC as it was not stated in the specification sheet. How long does it take to ship the item if it is not available?

    1. This product is an SDA or 'Specially Denatured Alcohol'. The isopropanol content is reported seperately. However the methanol and ethanol content are combined in the reported purity of the item. In general, this product is comprised of 90% Ethanol, 5% Methanol, and 5% Isopropanol. This information is reported in the SDS for this material.
