Beschreibung

General description

Chloroform, ein halogenierter Kohlenwasserstoff, wird in großem Umfang als Lösungsmittel eingesetzt. Sein photochemischer Abbau bei Vorhandensein von wässrigen TiO₂-Suspensionen (Wellenlängenbereich von 310–380 nm) wurde untersucht.

Application

Chloroform kann als Lösungsmittel verwendet werden, um die Enantioselektivität von sekundären Alkoholen zu verstärken, die durch die Borhydrid-Reduktion von Carbonylverbindungen bei Vorhandensein von optisch aktiven Ketoiminato-Cobalt-Komplexen gebildet werden.

Chloroform kann in den folgenden Untersuchungen als Lösungsmittel eingesetzt werden:

• Extraktion von RNA aus Pflanzenzellen[1]
• Herstellung einer Dioleoylphosphatidylcholin(DOPC)-Lösung[2]
• Auflösung von 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholin (DSPC)[3]

Es kann in einer schnellen quantitativen Methode zur Freisetzung von periplasmatischen Proteinen aus Bakterienstämmen verwendet werden.[4]
