Beschreibung

General description

LB Agar, Vegitone may be used as a culture media for the cultivation of Agrobacterium tumefaciens for the production of transgenic Citrus plants via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation.

Application

LB-Agar Vegiton enthält keine tierische Materialien. Es wird für die Kultivierung und Züchtung von rekombinanten Stämmen von Escherichia coli und zur Rutinekultivierung von nicht speziell anspruchsvollen Mikroorganismen verwendet.

Preparation Note

Suspend 35.0 g in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Dispense as desired.
