General description

EZ-Pak-Filter bestehen aus Cellulosemischestern (MCE) mit einer Porengröße von 0,45 μm, sind grün, gerastert und haben einen Durchmesser von 47 mm. Die Filter ermöglichen eine hohe Rückgewinnung und sind eher für allgemeine mikrobiologische Untersuchungen geeignet. EZ-Pak-Membranen und Membranspender revolutionieren die Handhabung von Filtern für die Membranfiltration (MF), indem sie die Vorteile gebrauchsfertiger, steriler, einzeln verpackter Membranen mit einfacher Handhabung kombinieren.

Application

Diese Filter finden Anwendung in den Bereichen Kosmetika, Umwelt, Lebensmittel und Getränke und industrielle Qualitätskontrolle. Zur mikrobiologischen Analyse von Bier, Flaschenwasser, Most, Sportgetränken und Wein mittels Membranfiltration. Diese Filter werden häufig für die Rückgewinnung von Hefe und Schimmelpilzen aus Proben verwendet

  1. Do these filters maintain form and function if subjected to autoclave decontamination? I'm aware they are sterile but we'd like to place the filters in a housing, then autoclave ahead of process gas testing.

    1. The EZHAGG474 filters can't be autoclaved.

      Autoclave Suitability: While MCE membranes are generally not recommended for autoclaving (as they can lose integrity or deform), these specific filters are designed to be removed from their sterile packaging using an EZ-Pak dispenser and used immediately.
      Alternative: If a sterilizable filter is needed for repeated use, PTFE or PES membranes in polypropylene housings are generally recommended instead.
