Beschreibung

General description

CD31, auch Thrombozyten-Endothelzellen-Adhäsionsmolekül 1 (PECAM1) genannt, ist ein membranintegriertes Glykoprotein vom Typ 1 und ein Mitglied der Immunglobulin-Superfamilie von Zelloberflächenrezeptoren. PECAM-1 wird konstitutiv an der Oberfläche von Endothelzellen exprimiert, wo es an den Zellverbindungen konzentriert ist. Darüber hinaus wird PECAM-1 in geringen Mengen an allen Leukozyten und Thrombozyten exprimiert. Die homotypische Interaktion von CD31 ist wichtig für die Interaktion zwischen einzelnen Zellen, für die Interaktion der Zellmatrix und für die Signaltransduktion.

Application

Der Anti-PECAM-1-Antikörper, Klon 390, ist ein Antikörper gegen PECAM-1 zur Verwendung in FC, IH und IP.

Durchflusszytometrie: 1 μg/10e6 Zellen.

Immunhistochemie: Acteon-fixierte gefrorene Gewebeschnitte

Immunpräzipitation

Blockierung der Zelladhäsion: CBL1337 hemmt die Aggregation von mit einer Variante von CD31 transfizierten L-Zellen (DeLisser, 1993).

Optimale Arbeitsverdünnungen müssen vom Endanwender bestimmt werden.
