Beschreibung

General description

Ein aus Brokkoli isoliertes Isothiocyanat, das als starker Induktor von Phase-II-Entgiftungsenzymen in Mäusegeweben und murinen Hepatomazellen in Kultur wirkt. Es hat sich als wirksames Mittel zur Vorbeugung von chemisch induzierten Brusttumoren bei Ratten erwiesen. Es hemmt auch die Phase-I-Cytochrom-P450-Isoenzyme 2E1 und IA2, die mit der Aktivierung von Karzinogenen in Verbindung gebracht werden. Die Induktion von Phase-II-Enzymen wird durch den Mitogen-aktivierten Proteinkinase (MAPK)-Stoffwechselweg vermittelt.

Preparation Note

Nach der Rekonstitution in Aliquote aufteilen und DMSO-Stammlösungen (-20 °C) und Ethanol-Stammlösungen (-70 °C) einfrieren. DMSO-Stammlösungen sind bis zu 3 Monate bei -20 °C und Ethanol-Stammlösungen sind bis zu 3 Monate bei -70 °C stabil.
