General description

Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm HPLC columns allow the separation of basic, neutral, and metal chelating compounds with simple mobile phases and excellent peak symmetry. They are based on ultra-pure fully porous silica particles (Type B). These columns offer an outstanding stability from pH 1.5 to 10.5 over a wide temperature range. Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm LiChroCART^™ 125-4 is a cartridge column which requires a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder part number 1.51486.0001. The manuCART^™ can be used to hold one cartridge column with or without direct integration of a 4-4 mm guard column. The recommended guard column is Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped (5 µm) LiChroCART^™ 4-4 part number 1.50270.0001.
