Dichloromethane has been tested as a solvent medium for dipyridine-chromium(VI) oxide. Solubility was reported to be 12.5g/100ml.[1] The apparent adsorption constant of the TiO₂ loaded activated carbon for dichloromethane was found to be inversely proportional to the quantity of loaded TiO₂.[2]

Aplicación

Dichloromethane may be used as a solvent for the preparation of stock solutions of carotenoids.[3] It may be employed as a solvent in the synthesis of polylactide-based (PLA) thin films.[4]
