Descripción general

Polyphosphoric acid (PPA) is an inorganic acid. Galangin-KMnO4-PPA system has been employed for the determination of tryptophan. It participates in the Skraup reaction. It is widely employed reagent for the alkylation and acylation reactions of aromatic and alkenic compounds.
