Alkyne functionalized gold nanoparticles are suitable for covalent conjugation of any azide-tagged molecule through Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry. These goldnanoparticles allow for rapid generation of gold conjugates for subsequent use in downstream assays. Alkyne functionalized gold nanoparticles are more than 95% spherical and have uniform size distribution (CV <12%).
Aplicación
Ideal for development of gold conjugates for use in applications such as blotting, lateral flow assays, microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Almacenamiento y estabilidad
When stored for a long period of time gold nanoparticles may sediment at the bottom of the vial, which is especially prominent for larger particle sizes. Prior to use, re-suspend the sedimented particles by thorough mixing until a homogenous solution is obtained.

In this study, we report the design, synthesis, and characterization of small 3 nm water soluble gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) that feature cyclopropenone-masked strained alkyne moieties capable of undergoing interfacial strain-promoted cycloaddition (i-SPAAC) with azides after exposure to UV-A light. A strained
Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) has proven a powerful tool for multiplex detection and imaging due to its narrow peak width and high sensitivity. However, conventional SERS reporters are limited to thiolated compounds, which have limitations such as chemical stability and
