Heartland Virus Glycoprotein 1 Antibody: The Heartland virus is a newly identified member of the phlebovirus genus of the Bunyaviridae family. Initial reports indicate that symptoms may include fever, fatigue, diarrhea, thrombocytopenia, and leukopenia. The Bunyaviridae family of viruses are spherical enveloped viruses with a tripartite RNA genome of negative or ambisense polarity. The glycoprotein RNA encodes a polyprotein that is cleaved into the G1 and G2 proteins.
Immunogen
Heartland virus glycoprotein 1 antibody was raised against a 19 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of the Heartland virus glycoprotein 1.The immunogen is located within amino acids 520 - 570 of Heartland Virus Glycoprotein 1.
Application
Heartland virus glycoprotein 1 antibody can detect 10 ng Heartland virus glycoprotein 1 in ELISA at 1 μg/mL.
