Application

DNAs are useful for genomic analysis, including PCR, library construction in bacteriophage lambda, and in heterologous pre-hybridization and hybridization protocols. Micrococcus luteus DNA contains a high G-C content (72%) versus other DNAs like Clostridium perfringens DNA, G + C (27%), making it useful in studies that compare the effects of base composition on DNA properties.
The DNAs are particularly useful for genomic analysis, including PCR, library construction in bacteriophage lambda, and in heterologous pre-hybridization and hybridization protocols.

Contains 2-4% protein

Engineered sequence-specific nucleases and donor DNA templates can be customized to edit mammalian genomes via the homologous recombination (HR) pathway. Here we report that the nature of the donor DNA greatly affects the specificity and accuracy of the editing process

In mammals, cytosine methylation is predominantly restricted to CpG dinucleotides and stably distributed across the genome, with local, cell-type-specific regulation directed by DNA binding factors. This comparatively static landscape is in marked contrast with the events of fertilization, during which
