L-lactate dehydrogenase A chain (LDHA), also known as Cell proliferation-inducing gene 19 protein, LDH muscle subunit, LDH-M, Renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-59, and encoded by the gene name LDHA/ PIG19, is a member of the LDH/MDH superfamily and LDH family. Mutations in LDHA have been assoicated with Glycogen storage disease 11 (GSD11), which is a metabolic disorder that results in exertional myoglobinuria, pain, cramps and easy fatigue.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human LDH-A.
Application
Anti-LDH-A, clone 5D2.1 is an antibody against LDH-A for use in WB, IH.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected LDH-A in human breast cancer sections and human kidney tissue.
