General description

Benalaxyl-M is a phenyl-amide fungicide which is effective in controlling downy mildew of grapes. The mode of action involves inhibiting nucleic RNA polymerase enzyme.

Application

Benalaxyl-M may be used as a reference standard for the determination of benalaxyl-M in wine samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid chromatography (LC) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), based on a hybrid quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) system.
