Specificity

The involvement of integrins in vascular proliferation, adhesion, and wound repair and have been well-documented. The integrin family of cell adhesion receptors consists of at least 16 membrane-associated heterodimers, composed of an alpha and beta subunit that associate in a non-covalent manner. The structure and functional diversity of the integrin family are based upon the pairing abilities of the individual alpha and beta subunits. Monoclonal antibody MAB16983 was produced by immunization with human T lymphocytes. The antibody is reactive with integrin a4 from primate and human species.

Application

Anti-Integrin α4 Antibody, clone P1H4 detects level of Integrin α4 & has been published & validated for use in ELISA, FC, IP, IC, IH.

EMILIN1 promotes α4β1 integrin-dependent cell adhesion and migration and reduces pro-transforming growth factor-β processing. A knockout mouse model was used to unravel EMILIN1 functions in skin where the protein was abundantly expressed in the dermal stroma and where EMILIN1-positive fibrils

The adipocytokine leptin modulates vascular remodeling and neointima formation. Because endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) participate in vascular repair, we analyzed the effects of leptin on human EPC function in vitro and in vivo. After 7 days in culture, EPCs expressed

Fibronectin plays important roles in erythropoiesis through the fibronectin receptors VLA-4 and VLA-5. However, the substantial role of these fibronectin receptors and their functional assignment in erythroid differentiation are not yet fully understood. Here, we investigated the effects of cell
