General description

NOTCH homolog-1 (NOTCH-1) is a transmembrane receptor.

Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 2170-2187 of human NOTCH1.

Biochem/physiol Actions

NOTCH homolog-1 (NOTCH-1) is an integral part of the NOTCH signaling pathway, which regulates various cellular functions. NOTCH-1 enhances the invasion of cancer cells and mutations in the gene encoding it have been associated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Physical form

solution in phosphate buffered saline, containing 0.02% sodium azide.
