General description

N-Nitrosodimethylamine is a toxic type of N-nitrosamine, which can be commonly synthesized in vivo by intestinal microbiota type of microorganisms. It can undergo reduction to form dimethylamine using zero-valent metal ions like Fe and Zn in the presence of Cu(II) ions.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

A sensitive procedure, microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) coupled dispersive micro solid-phase extraction (D-μ-SPE), was developed to extract N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) and other six volatile N-nitrosamines (NAms) from meat products. Parameters affecting the efficiency of MAE and D-μ-SPE were systematically investigated. For MAE
