Ethanol is commonly used as a solvent for reconstitution of this product for cell culture applications. Although solubility in ethanol is not a tested specification for batch release, this product is known to dissolve in ethanol up to a concentration of 20 mg/mL. Sonication is not necessary for reconstitution in ethanol.
