Irreversibly inhibits protein tyrosine phosphatase (SHP-1) activity (99% inhibition at 11 μM).

Irreversibly inhibits protein tyrosine phosphatase (SHP-1) activity (99% inhibition at 11μM). Inhibits SHP-2 and PTP1B at 10-folds higher concentration. Induces general tyrosine phosphorylation. Augments IL-3-induced proliferation in Baf3 cells (E_max=55 μM).
