General description

Propargite, a non-systemic acaricide, is most commonly used on crops such as cotton, vines, nuts, tea etc for controlling phytophagous mite infestation.

Application

Propargite has been used as pesticide standard for determination of residual pesticides from:
  • Olive oil samples using GC–MS and HPLC–MS methods.
  • Tea leaf extract using GC-negative chemical ionization mass spectrometry (GC-NCI-MS) and UHPLC-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS).
  • Apple leaf extract using HPLC method.
